On the luminous full-moon night of Sharad Purnima, Krishna took up His flute and played a melody so sweet that the gopis of Vrindavan left their homes and ran to the forest, drawn by love beyond all reason.
There, beneath the silver moon, began the Raas Lila — the dance of divine love. So that none would feel separated from Him, Krishna multiplied Himself, dancing beside each and every gopi at once, a Krishna for every devoted heart.
Love without limit
The Raas Lila is the highest expression of bhakti — the soul’s longing to be united with the Divine. It is not an earthly romance, but the eternal play of the Lord with the souls who love Him completely.
“Wherever there is a heart that calls to Me with love, there I am, dancing forever.”
As dawn approached, the gopis understood: Krishna was never apart from them. He lives in the heart of every being who remembers Him with love.
